A branch of City Without Orphans focused on meeting the tangible needs of the foster and adoptive community, bridging real needs with the resources and generosity already here in the Central Valley.
Foster, kinship, and adoptive parents, adult adoptees, and former foster youth can reach out via email, text, or social media, as can social workers and others working with this community.
Requests for tangible items like beds, clothing, and toiletries keep growing. We believe the resources already exist in the generosity of local churches, businesses, and individual donors.
Our Foster & Adoption 101 workshop, led by Ashley Phelan, covers the fundamentals of the process and what families can expect: a good first step, wherever you are in the journey.
Ask About the Next WorkshopWe want current and former foster youth, foster and adoptive families, and adoptees to feel seen, heard, and equipped. One way we help: therapeutic groups led by professionals, adult adoptees, and adoptive parents on topics that matter most.
A planned break for foster and adoptive parents, while their children are cared for in a safe, supervised setting. We built this around honoring the weight these parents carry, and giving them space to rest.
A standing commitment to supporting kinship caregivers, recognizing the importance of family connections and providing resources specific to kinship placements.
Open to both moms and dads. We co-host this monthly Support Group with Action Community Church, meeting the last Thursday of every month.
Regular gathering spaces where foster and adoptive parents find encouragement, honest conversation, and practical wisdom from others walking the same road.
